Annual General Meeting

These are the members who are eligible to vote/nominate for the new committee next week on Wednesday. The criteria for this list is based on the member's regularity of attendance for the whole semester.

a) Voting members who do not attend the AGM will not have their votes/nominations counted.

b) The positions of chairperson and vice-chairperson are fixed already as the positions are decided based on collective prayers by the old committee and strong consideration from the club advisors. No further nominations or votes are allowed for these two positions.

c) Voting members are allowed to nominate extra people from the post of secretary, treasurer, publicity, worship coordinator, assistant worship coordinator, 3 English CG leaders and 1 Chinese CG leader.

d) Voting members are free to nominate another extra 2 names in addition to the ones suggested by the old committee for each post.

e) The person nominated has to agree first before his/her name is put up for elections. If he/she rejects the nomination, his/her name will not be counted as a nominee.

f) Voting members are strongly encouraged to nominate ONLY if they had prayed about it and felt that there should be an alternative name up there.

g) In the event where there is no alternative nominee to contest the one that was suggested by the old committee, the person nominated by the old committee is deemed to be voted into his/her new committee post.
